Hours as follows:
36 hours per week.


Fixed Term until 31st
March 2025.


An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a GM Supervisor as part of the Grounds Maintenance Highways team within Parks & Countryside.


The successful applicants will lead a Grounds Maintenance team dealing with Alleyway clearance work responsible for maintaining and improving the standard of alleyways within the Borough.

The role will include management of grounds maintenance operational staff and work with Friends groups and other organisations and will be based in our depot at Cleveland Street Birkenhead.


We are looking for a keen, enthusiastic, self-motivated person experienced in this type of work capable of working and liaising with a wide diversity of people and experience in the following: Developing and promoting Alleyway improvements.

Making sure that all team members are wearing corporate uniform and appropriate P.P.E.

Monitor and ensure day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery. To assist the GM Manager in the inspection of machinery to include effective record-keeping. Raise the quality and improve the image of Wirral's Alleyways in line with current Strategic Plan and Strategic Policy
