You will become part of a team supporting the Revenues and Benefits team in the delivery of Housing Benefit / Council Tax Support, Business Rates and Council Tax.

You will be required to undertake home visits to support the Benefits and Council Tax functions and also site visits and inspections for Business Rates purposes.

Your responsibilities will include providing advice, effective decision making and responding to customer's enquiries in a professional manner.

You will have the opportunity to bring your skills and experience to help the Council deal with all aspects of the Revenues and Benefits Service, including maintaining accurate records, handling sensitive data and working with your colleagues and the Revenues and Benefits Management team to help deliver a high standard of service to the residents of Ashfield.

Working as a Revenues Visiting Officer at Ashfield District Council is a challenging but rewarding role.

Using your knowledge and customer service skills you will need to be flexible in your approach and confident in helping the Council to achieve a high quality customer focused service delivery.
