About the role and team
***- Anthony Collins are seeking a Property Solicitor to join our Property team on a permanent basis. This role is being offered on a Full-time OR a Part-time basis. The part-time offering will be on a job-sharing basis.
Part-time hours will be 3 working days. Compulsory days of work are Monday AND Friday, with the selection of the third day being flexible.
Our Property Team who work in social housing are looking for a dynamic and experienced Property Solicitor. The role will involve supporting a Partner on a wide range of property matters for Social Housing clients. We are ranked a Tier 1 Legal 500 Firm for Social Housing work. The role provides a great opportunity to join a nationally renowned team and advise on cutting edge projects.

Our work is very varied and includes:

  • Working on a mixed property caseload for social housing clients including development work, acquisitions of affordable housing units, buying and selling property and general property matters for those clients;
  • Providing assistance to the partner on major projects including developments;
  • Building and maintaining effective client relationships;
  • Active participation in marketing initiatives;
  • Running own caseload;
  • Ensuring files are managed in compliance with Lexcel procedures
***- Proven ability to take on responsibility and manage files, independently where appropriate;

  • Strong client focus and a commitment to service delivery;
  • Drive and enthusiasm;
  • Commercial awareness;
  • Confident and professional;
  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 24 years' post qualification experience (or equivalent) in commercial property work;
  • Ideally with experience of working for social housing (but not essential);
  • Hard working and a good team player; and
  • Alignment with the Firm's social purposes
