Your work duties

  • Dispense prescription medicines
*Assist the pharmacist to deliver superb dispensary service
*Ensure that medicines are received and counted correctly as per invoice then stored in an appropriate manner
*Clean work stations, dispensing equipments regularly
*Order repeat prescriptions and issue prepared medicines promptly
*Deal with queries and make referrals appropriately
*Handle controlled drugs and recording CD registers
*Help engage in advanced services such as New Medicine Service NMS
*Handle till and prescription money responsibly
*Carry out stock checks and rotate stocks if not used or short dated
*Order stocks daily and fulfil owings promptly
*Provide cover for annual leave/sickness


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From £10.42 per hour


Experience:


  • Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
  • Pharmacy Assistants & Technicians: 1 year (preferred)
