For over 25 years, the Faculty of Health has been passionate about creating programmes that enable our students to engage with the health and social care sectors to deliver the best care to individuals, families and populations.

The School of Public and Allied Health covers a range of programme areas including public health, paramedicine, midwifery, community nursing, social work and health and social care.


We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual with a broad range of expertise and experience in public health education to lead the management of the current portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Public Health, Environmental Health, and Health and Social Care, as well as inspiring new developments in programmes, international recruitment, collaborative partners and external engagement.

You will have responsibility for the management and development of programme delivery, in collaboration with the Director of School


The post holder will:
- contribute significantly to the management and leadership of the School, including managing staff effectively to meet the School's goals
- make high level contributions to the academic work of the School, including quality assurance
- work collaboratively with other programme managers in the School
- be an active member of the School Management Team
- contribute to the research activity of the School.
