The NHSCFA is the national body responsible for all matters relating to the prevention, detection and investigation of economic crime across the NHS.

There is the opportunity for office based, hybrid or home working based at any of these locations. In addition to the advertised salary working in the London area will attract High Cost Area Supplement where appropriate


In association with the Fraud Prevention Manager, the post holder will develop an agreed business plan that will drive forward the unit's activity in meeting the NHSCFA organisational strategic objectives, within a legal framework.

Responsible for seeing that the team's Business Plan is translated into objectives and outcomes for staff members.


Responsible for ensuring that NHSCFA meets its accountability in identifying effective fraud prevention practice to NHS England that meets required standards.


The post holder will lead on the development of best practice guidance to set standards for the NHS and consequently supporting NHS England and all NHS health bodies in England in reducing the fraud anti-crime risks affecting staff and resources.


Responsible for maintaining effective stakeholder relationships and collaboration on key areas of fraud prevention work at a strategic, national and local level.
