Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have experience working with students aged 4-16 in a supportive educational environment? If so, we want YOU to join our team as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Tara are working with a SEN school in Wolverhampton who are dedicated to providing high-quality education and support for students with a range of SEN, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate individual with SEMH experience to fill the role of SEN TA.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide oneonone support and assistance to students with SEN, including those with SEMH needs.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to meet the needs of all students.
Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and respected.

Requirements:

Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification at level 2 or higher.
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is essential.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting students with diverse needs.

£85.00-£95.00 per day
