The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse to join our team here at our Bagshot practice.

We provide a varied working day for our nursing team with shifts ranging from anaesthetic monitoring, care of inpatients, nurse consultations, assisting reception, drug dispensing, lab work, and maintaining a sterile work environment.

The role will allow for great clinical exposure and the opportunity to work amongst a friendly and supportive team.

Rota patterns that work for you

This is a Full-Time position, and you will ideally work 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday.

Typically, the earliest start is 8am and the latest finish is 7.30pm (with normally 1 and no more than 2 late finishes a week).

Saturdays are 1 in 4, 8am-4pm with a Friday off the following weekend (this will be at our Woking practice).

You will be mainly based at Bagshot however you may need to cover our other sites on occasion.

We want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance therefore we are happy to discuss a flexible rota pattern to suit you.

Whether you are looking to fix or flex or are needing condensed working days, we are happy to discuss. We would also welcome Part Time applicants.

Salary

Salary is up to £31,000 DOE
Relocation Allowance up to £1,500

About Us

We are a long established, Small Animal Veterinary Group based in Woking, Bagshot and Addlestone.

As a progressive practice we recently relocated to our brand new, purpose-built practice in Woking, and continue to invest to refurbish and equip our other 2 practices to the same high standard.

Our Bagshot practice maintains state of the art clinical equipment along with a nice prep area where we conduct dirty ops/procedures/x-rays as well as a theatre for clean ops.

We also have a small kennel area, consulting room and potential for nurse consult room. At our main site we also have a purpose-built grooming salon. We have a loyal client base and a gold standard reputation across the local community.

We have great transport links to London and the beauty and history of Surrey on our doorstep ready to explore.

About the Team and Culture

Our 7 Veterinary Surgeons are supported by a great team of 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 3 Animal Care Assistants and experienced Receptionists across the Group.

The management team are very experienced and work continuously to provide an environment where all staff feel valued, listened to, and provided with a developmental pathway.

We strongly believe in the development of our staff and actively encourage and support CPD.

The team at Bagshot are all very passionate about their jobs and are very caring towards our patients.

You will be working alongside 2 Vets, 2 RVN's and 2 Nurses/Receptionists who know the practice and the clients inside out.

We are friendly and supportive throughout and ensuring the mental and physical well-being of all staff is a high priority for those in leadership and management roles.

"The team culture is certainly super supportive and hardworking yet fun. Work hard, play hard." Ana (Veterinary Surgeon)
