Responsibilities:

• Signing in and out
• Using our time clock system
• Using the company systems and delivery apps
• Working in a team to complete multiple deliveries daily
• Warehouse organisation and basic stock management
• Order preparation and stock picking
• Loading and unloading goods in and out of company vehicles
• Operating vehicle tail lift
• Operating tools
• Tools and equipment management
• Furniture delivery and assembly ( where appropriate
• Expertise not required )
• Appliance delivery and installation ( where appropriate expertise not required )
• Professional communication with team and management when required
• Professional communication with customers
• Reporting any internal or external issues with management
• Adhering to all processes and policies.
• Safely and efficiently drive a delivery van to transport packages to various locations
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Load and unload packages, which may require heavy lifting
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
• Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle

Training will be provided where necessary.

Uniform and tools will be provided where necessary.


Note:


Skills:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience as a van driver or in commercial driving is preferred
• Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Entry Requirements-

• Driving License
  ( minimum of two years ):
• Comfortable with manual handling
• Comfortable in a physically demanding environment and role

Salary:
£11.50 Per hour

Typical schedule and shift pattern: 37.5 hours ( 08:30am - 16:30pm) 30 minute lunch.

*Monday to Friday ( Saturday shifts are adhoc and staff are required to be available )
