The Role
We are looking for a talented Job Coach to join our Supported Employment team.

You will play a key role in the delivery and development of our supported employment service at Enham Trust; ensuring every individual we work with has a positive, impactful experience that supports them on their journey to employment.


Our Supported Employment Programme is based on the ethos that anyone who wants to work can do so with the right coaching/training and co-working with employers.

Clients on the programme have long-term health conditions, learning difficulties and/or disabilities which have presented them with barriers to entering the world of work.

You will manage a caseload of supported employees, providing individualised and group support to support individuals to achieve their employment goals.


This is a part-time, 6-month fixed term contract, 23 hours per week, Monday - Friday based in the Fair Oak, Hampshire area.

As our Job Coach, you will:

  • Provide assistance to a Supported Employee, in their current place of work to enable them to thrive, develop and meet KPI's, based on co-produced action plans and tailored support for the client that will improve their skills, confidence and motivation, and support them to access any grant funding they are entitled to
  • Assess client needs using vocational profiling and codevelop individualised programmes with their employer that support them to become independent within their workplace
  • Engage with and support managers and employers to support clients to overcome barriers, including advising employers on reasonable adjustments to promote independence and integration into the workplace
  • Ensure the Strive service runs in line with contractual requirements for employees receiving both Access to Work and TESG funding
  • Effectively support and develop individuals with neurodiversity and disabilities to achieve their goals
  • Work closely with the Supported Employment Lead to build on relationships withlocal employers to deliver disability awareness training and consultancy
  • Help to organise and coordinate a varied timetable of skill development activities at Fair Oak and Enham Trust for supported employees and others looking to enter work (tenants, residents etc), including one to one meetings, group skill development sessions and community outreach partnerships
  • Support the delivery of regular employer and employee open days on site at Enham Trust to showcase our services and employment model
  • Engage with local events and potential referrer agencies to support individuals looking for employment opportunities
  • Actively participate in collaborative team meetings, encompassing caseload reviews, challenges, priorities and forward planning
  • Be a key member of the Supported Internships development project team and pilot project, working closely with colleagues across our S2A education service to develop and deliver a functional skills and employability curriculum suitable to the needs of individuals on our Supported Internships pathway
  • Support with the delivery of Disability Awareness and neurodiversity training, consultancy and Disability Confident accreditation services to local employers
  • Ensure safeguarding processes are always adhered to, and escalate concerns when required
  • Ensure all processes and record keeping adhere to GDPR regulations and Enham Trust policies
  • Support with internal quality assurances and audits as and when required
