Key duties of the Payroll Co-ordinator will include:
- Accurately collate and validate all payroll related data
- Processing all new starters, leavers and contractual changes
- Preparation of payroll transfer journal and recharges
- Dealing with, and resolving payroll related queries
- Monitoring/controlling nominal ledger code changes within payroll
- Reconciliation of pension and payroll control accounts in the nominal ledger
- Implementation of Wage Awards for all Companies
- P11d's and Class 1A National Insurance returns
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Administration in relation to Pension Schemes
- Conducting ongoing reviews of processes and actions
- Provision of a range of reports
The successful Payroll Co-ordinator will require the following skills and experience:
- UK payroll exposure is essential
- Solid understanding of pension schemes and auto enrolment
- Ability to resolve complex payroll and pension queries and explain them in a simple and clear manner
