We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Consultant within our Southampton based team.
The role will effectively undertake and deliver consultancy projects to meet a variety of client needs working at the home base and internationally as required by the project.
The key deliverables of this role are to continually ensure the quality of our consultancy deliverables through constantly benchmarking Oil Spill Response's services, developing standards and working with the global delivery teams to ensure consistent, quality outputs to fulfil customer needs in accordance with the preparedness business plan.
Main Accountabilities:
- Ensure consistency and quality of all Consultancy deliverables and personnel in local region, and work with other regions to align and ensure standard templates and outputs.
- Constantly benchmark OSRL's Consultancy services against other providers and industry expectations and to support the implementation of new requirements to ensure OSRL remain at the leading edge.
- Lead and project manage Consultancy projects to deliver on time and to budget.
- Provide guidance, coaching and support to other project team members as required.
- Deliver consultancy deliverables for OSRL as required, such as contingency plans, capability reviews, exercise design and facilitation, tactical response plans, workshops etc.
- Deliver consultancy work within region and travel as required internationally.
- Support the development and maintenance of high quality 'standard' deliverables for the global consultancy business.
Requirements:
- Essential: Fluent in French, both verbal and writtenProven record either in field spill response or related training and consultancy roles.
- Proven experience in delivery of midlarge scale Consultancy projects as both an individual and as part of or leading a team.
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental/Marine Sciences, or similar
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- Good report writing and presentation skills
- Flexibility to participate in response activities as required, including travel to national and international locations
Working with OSRL
Salary starting from £41,000, dependant upon experience.
