Internal Trainer Assessor. Employability Skills for Adults
.

Part Time. 33 Hours Per Week. P
ermanent.


As a result of our continued success delivering training to unemployed adults, we are looking for an inspirational and enthusiastic trainer to deliver a range of employability qualifications to adults on very short programmes.

The trainer will need to have recent or current experience of delivering accredited qualifications.

This role will involve establishing and maintaining effective training, learning, and assessment activities and maintaining effective records in line with College policies.


You will be expected to develop session plans to meet individual learner needs and deliver innovative sessions that motivate some of the most disadvantaged adults.


You will need to have a flexible approach to working and the ability to prioritise your workload to meet assessment deadlines and timely completion of paperwork.


  • A vocational qualification at Level 3 or above.
  • Level 2 English and maths
  • A good level of general IT skills
  • Recent experience of delivering training to adult learners


Experience of carring out internal quality assurance activities and providing information advice and guidance would also be an advantage but not essential.

There will be an opportunity to discuss hours at interview. The post is based at our City Skills Centre outreach site.
