Polypipe Building Products are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.


We are currently recruiting for a Loading Offcier to join the Despatch team based at our Broomhouse Lane site in Doncaster, DN12.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all product loads are in a safe condition for transit and compliant with load securing standards
  • Record and monitor handling equipment inbout and outbound and report/control vehicle/trailer defects
  • Make sure all aspects of Health & Safety policies and procedures are complied with in all daily activities
  • Manual Handling duties

Requirements:


  • Ideally have previous experience in Load Security / preparation
  • Have an understanding of the transporting goods safely legislation
  • Safety concious and attention to detail is required
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and to work on own initiative or part of a team
  • A valid FLT licence would be advantagous but is not essential

Hours of Work:4 on 4 off shift pattern. 7am-7pm days.


Rate of pay:
£11.79 per hour.

  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Doncaster, DN12 1ES: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:


  • Loading: 1 year (preferred)
