Description

An academic institution based in Southampton is seeking a Temporary Marketing Coordinator to join their busy, growing team.

The Marketing Coordinator role will be working initially for 3 months, but could be extended depending on business levels and need.

Paying between £15-16 per hour based on a 35 hour week, working hours are also negotiable.

The role will be working remotely, but there will be an expectation to travel to the office in Southampton twice a month.

The Marking Coordinator position will include the full marketing mix and will be supporting the implementation of the institutions marketing plans and communications activities as well as supporting with administration across the team.

Duties will include the following:

Assisting with the delivery of the departments marketing campaigns
Copywriting and proofreading for on and offline content and marketing communications channels, including promotional printed literature, web, and social media
Writing for web pages and content eg basic keyword research and SEO
Developing print materials, liaising with external and creative agencies
Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholder for example department heads and academics
Assistant with administration across the team including basic finance duties such as raising invoices
