We are looking for diverse team members to deliver great customer experiences at all times of day.

hat is the role?

As an Airport Security Officer you will be working in busy passenger facing areas providing the best customer experience whilst maintaining safety and security.

On shift you'll be greeting people and carrying out searches on passengers and colleagues including their bags and personal effects.

This is a great opportunity to start your journey with London Gatwick, many of our people have developed themselves and their teams to pursue opportunities in security leadership and other teams across the business.

**What will you do?

**After successfully completing training and passing the NXCT exams: - Work in a small team with other security officers and the wider airport teams to deliver great passenger experience.

Complete regular training to maintain our high screening standards and that of our regulator the CAA
Check identification / travel documents and perform full security screening for all passengers and staff entering secure areas.
Use colour X-Ray images to screen passenger belongings and identify what is in them
Assist with health, safety or security incidents

Do you have what we're looking for?

Strong teamwork ethos, communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence to deal with difficult situations in a friendly and professional manner
Ability to work under pressure and multitask to a high standard in a busy operation, demonstrating our Vision and Values.
