Overview:
Element has an opportunity for a

Certification Officer to join our team based in High Wycombe. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing companies in the global Testing, Inspection & Certification sector.

Responsibilities:

Review audit reports, nonconformances, contract reviews and associated documentation to ensure technical compliance with scheme and accreditation rules
Approve documents for certification if they meet the relevant Standard's technical requirements
Respond to and resolve promptly all Group office enquiries relating to Certification matters
Maintain professional work standards based on a balance of quality of decision making, output, and timeliness.
Work with manager, colleagues and team to increase knowledge of role and Standards and the service provided by all, improving technical and decision making skills for self and the team
Provide support for Accreditation Body audits as required
To provide general support to the Operations team in relation to the annual audit programmes
To ensure that client files and records are maintained in an accurate and complete manner

Skills / Qualifications:

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret data
Able to work to tight deadlines
Proactive approach to work with good level of selfconfidence
Excellent telephone manner
Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
Excellent customer service skills
Confident when dealing with people at all levels
Prompt, accurate and reliable
Excellent team player attitude
