Overview:

Element has an opportunity for a

Certification Officer to join our team based in High Wycombe. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing companies in the global Testing, Inspection & Certification sector.


Responsibilities:


  • Review audit reports, nonconformances, contract reviews and associated documentation to ensure technical compliance with scheme and accreditation rules
  • Approve documents for certification if they meet the relevant Standard's technical requirements
  • Respond to and resolve promptly all Group office enquiries relating to Certification matters
  • Maintain professional work standards based on a balance of quality of decision making, output, and timeliness.
  • Work with manager, colleagues and team to increase knowledge of role and Standards and the service provided by all, improving technical and decision making skills for self and the team
  • Provide support for Accreditation Body audits as required
  • To provide general support to the Operations team in relation to the annual audit programmes
  • To ensure that client files and records are maintained in an accurate and complete manner

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Proactive approach to work with good level of selfconfidence
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Confident when dealing with people at all levels
