Company Description:

Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for a Customs & Logistics Specialist to be based in London, UK.


The Customs & Logistics Specialist plays a key part in ensuring compliance across the RB UK business for all areas relating to Customs.

The role will also support in ensuring that exceptional service is delivered through our 3PL partners on both the finished goods business and all supporting items through our VISIT partners.


Customs
Maintain an Import database across all areas of the business (FG, VISIT & Indirects)
Maintain and check all Import documentation, assess any compliance risks and address risk areas with the respective Brokers.
Ensure archiving is kept up to date and accurate.

Keep up to date with changing legislation in the UK and work closely with our regulatory team & HQ customs teams to understand the relevant impact.

Liaise with customs brokers to ensure timely receipt of documentation & monthly reports.


3PL Operations
3PL capacity management & balancing - Taking ownership of the capacity management with our 3PL. Working with our 3PL to agree and align on our forecasted capacity.

Liaising with and directing our customer service team to adjust orders to ensure we are fully optimizing our capacity plan.

Be the main point of contact for operational activities with the 3PL. Co-ordinating the execution of returns, up-lifts & re-deliveries.
Attend weekly & monthly meetings with 3PL to review service & performance and manage any projects or issues


Systems & Processes
Ensure documentation of all Customs processes and manage updates following any legislative changes. This will include training and upskilling of the wider team and business.

Standardise and streamline processes according to local & global standards making sure that we operate with transparent, efficient & effective processes.

Support month/year-end close processes providing data and analysis on any discrepancies and cost deviation.
Embrace a continuous improvement mindset and suggest improvements when the opportunity arises.


Data
Maintenance and management of the local Import database, including periodic analysis to ensure completeness

Support the Finish Goods "Book-2-book" (stock reconciliation) for our UK 3PL sites, ensuring accuracy in the data held and root causing /solving where there is any deviation.

Included within this is the inbound/transport related IDOC error investigations
Support with the delivery of data-led projects, including cost-to-serve and route-to-market analysis


Qualifications:

Experience or qualifications within a Logistics or supply chain sector
Knowledge of Customs processes essential
Knowledge of SAP desirable
Strong experience in Microsoft Excel and analytical/data skills to compliment this.
Problem-solving, can-do attitude
Highly organized, motivated and determined
Works accurately with a strong eye for detail.
Continuous Improvement mindset.
