Description
Our client is a leading privately owned home builder in Harrogate and now requires a Finance Director.This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Director looking for a number 1 challenge or a Financial Controller looking for the next step up.
The Role
Reporting into the CEO, this role will sit on the board and will work closely with the CEO to lead, manage and develop the finance function.
Key duties will include:
- Manage a small team of qualified and part qualified accountants / assistants
- Cash flow forecasting
- Quarterly reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee the production of Monthly Management Accounts
- Ensure all statutory accounts are produced and filed correctly
Essential requirements:
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualifications
- Experience in house building / construction
- Comfortable operating with internal and external stakeholders at Board Level
- Previous line management experience
- Strong commercial acumen
- Up to £110,000
