I'm working with a growing engineering company based in north Sheffield.

Due to company restructure along with growth they are recruiting within the finance team for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk.

This role initially is a temporary and will last for 6 months. You will be adaptable and be able to hit the ground running. Previous Purchase Ledger experience is essential and it will help if you have experience of the Sage200 system. You'll be in this role to ad value to the team and initially assist with clearing their backlog.


It will provide you with variety and a good team working atmosphere in a business with a lot of exciting things happening.


This role will include:

  • Maintain the AP Ledger on Sage 200
  • Supplier account reconciliations
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Deal with supplier queries on the phone
  • Obtain approval for payment

Skills and experience:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic and keen to learn
  • To be confident and proactive with a good telephone manner
  • Good IT skills
  • 2 years relevant experience is a must
  • 5 Monday to Friday
c. £24,000 - £26,000 Depending on experience
20 days holiday + bank holidays
Free on site parking
