Full Time:
Mon to Friday 40 hours per week

Holiday: 30 days per annum (includes Bank Holidays)
Excellent rates of pay available (dependant on experience)

We are looking for a purchasing administrator to join our growing team.

You will be responsible for managing the purchasing process for goods and services required by the organisation.

Your job will include negotiating contracts, identifying suppliers, reviewing and approving purchase orders, and ensuring that goods are delivered on time and at the expected quality.

Working closely with department heads to identify the goods and services required by the organisation.

You must be able to work well in a team and also on your own initiative.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts with them.
  • Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring that they meet the organisations procurement policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the quality of goods and services received from suppliers, ensuring that they meet the organisations standards.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • An experienced purchasing manager (min 2 years).
  • Have great attention to detail.
  • Hard working and positive.
  • Literate and confident working with initiative.
  • A good communicator and timekeeper.
