Description

The fellow would work with two dedicated and experienced thoracic radiologists to cover specialist reporting in thoracic imaging and would be expected to partake in regular image guided interventions such as lung biopsies and pleural drains.

There may also be the opportunity to gain experience in coronary CT reporting.

There is a Lung cancer MDT weekly and a weekly benign chest radiology meeting.

UWBW is a regional centre for adult extracorporeal membrane oxygenation ( ECMO) and the fellow would be strongly encouraged to partake in the weekly ICU/ECMO meeting.


There would be provision for one session of acute CT reporting ( Hub session) per week and a plain film or general ultrasound session per week.

The remaining sessions would be for specialist work.

There will be opportunities to assist with audit, service improvement projects and ongoing research in the Unit.
