Description

Our client based in Thatcham is looking to hire a Junior Buyer. This is a full-time, permanent position with the opportunity to start immediately.

Hours of Work:


  • 08:00am 16:00pm
  • Monday to Friday

Salary:


  • Circa £25,000 per annum (DOE)

Duties Required:


  • Purchasing and forecasting of raw materials.
  • Ensuring reasonable cost and delivering them in a time effective manner.
  • Interpreting basic technical drawings to ascertain parts required to make and deliver the end product.
  • Negotiating, maintaining, and improving terms with key suppliers.

Skills Required:


  • Good knowledge of BOMs and MRP
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers
  • Experience working within a buying or procurement role
  • Organised and meticulous approach to your role
