iDirect Independent Living are currently recruiting for a Team Leader, to support the Team Manager to run their allocated packages of care across Poole to Christchurch and to provide direct support to these people. Such duties of support would be to access their local community, develop new skills, access leisure opportunities, maintain their home, prepare and cook meals and have company and share time with people with similar interests.


If you are interested in furthering your career in social care working with adults with autism, learning disabilities and/or mental health difficulties, can demonstrate you are able to lone work, are fun, compassionate and respectful of people.

Have good and clear communication skills and are patient and understanding iDirect would like to meet you to see if you are a match for this role.

You would be employed by iDirect Independent Living and will receive both induction, mandatory and specialist training. You will have access to 24 hour management support from an organisation only supporting people in Dorset.

iDirect Independent Living will only ever support 35 people so you and the people we support can be assured of a tailored and immediate response.

You would be working alongside the Team Manager and under their instruction.
