We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward-looking procurement senior manager to lead the Procurement function as we transform our services within the Scottish Parliament.
Sitting within the Business Assurance Group, the Procurement Services Team is responsible for providing the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body (SPCB) with the goods, services and works it requires for Parliament's purpose.
You'll also be responsible for promoting a culture of continuous improvement to deliver a customer focused, responsive and forward-looking professional procurement service.
You'll have a proven track record in optimising efficiency in service delivery through driving innovative initiatives designed to deliver benefits and improve process.
As an experienced procurement professional, you'll be responsible for upholding the integrity and sustainability of the SPCB's procurement service.And for ensuring that robust and progressive procurement policies and procedures are in place to meet the needs of the organisation and support the delivery of the strategic plan.
You'll have a progressive outlook, with a growth mindset and expertise of identifying and delivering positive outcomes through service improvements for the organisation.
Leading a high performing team, you'll be capable of reviewing accuracy and compliance of procurement projects and the ability to take forward and manage complex projects.
You'll have excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and balance workloads in a high-pressure environment, with a focus on staff well-being and supporting colleagues to achieve their potential.
