Description

Orbital Recruitment are currently looking for multi-drop van drivers on an ongoing basis starting ASAP.

This is collection and delivery of parcels and packages around the Leicestershire area for a well-established family business based in Leicester with an excellent record for good customer service.

They are expanding their numbers due to new business and need to increase the size of their driver team. Multi drop parcel delivery experience is essential.

Van Driver Duties:

07:30 start on collection and delivery van driver work around Leicester.
Shift lengths usually around 10hrs per day
This is a ongoing position.
You will be using handheld scanners and taking photographs of each drop.
Induction is a site tour and licence check along with learning all paperwork and processes and site safety before first shift.
This is a Monday to Friday operation starting at 07:30

and finishing around 17:00.

Saturday shifts available.

Van Driver Experience Needed/ About You:

Cat B licence
Minimum 2 years van driving experience on British roads
Ideally you will have multidrop experience
Good geographical knowledge of Leicester
Good level of spoken / written English
Good customer service skills
Physically fit
No more than 6 points for minor motoring offences.

Van Driver Pay/ Salary
- £11.50 per hour Paye

Van Driver Hours & Contract Type:

This is a Monday to Friday operation starting at 07:30
45 hours per week
Saturday shifts available
4 week temp to perm
Weekly pay.
Free onsite parking.
