Central Campus, Sandwell, West Bromwich

Working Hours:
15 hours per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

FTE Salary:
£22,330 - £25,870 per annum

Actual Salary:
£8, £9,634.97 pro rata, per annum

We are currently seeking an experienced Pastoral Mentor to join our pastoral team on a part-time, fixed-term maternity cover basis from June 2024 to May 2025.

We are looking for a dedicated individual with coaching skills to guide and support 16 to 18-year-old students in academic and emotional development, aiming to enhance attendance, retention, and behavior. The ideal candidate will motivate learners to achieve excellence in their education journey.

Our Pastoral Mentors collaborate closely with Program Achievement Managers to support students facing challenges in various learning environments, requiring effective communication skills.

The successful candidate should ideally possess a qualification in youth work or mentoring and demonstrate experience in mentoring young learners, preferably in an educational setting.

Closing date for applications is 31 May 2024. The vacancy may close earlier at our discretion.
