If you enjoy taking a lead and have experience in a manufacturing environment this is for you. The Senior Project Accountant is a key position within the leadership team to ensure delivery of accurate and timely financial information.

You will be working as part of a busy and fast-paced project team assisting with the delivery of accurate and timely financial information, aiding in the creation and maintenance of robust project governance and control initiatives, and taking a lead onpresenting financial results and forecasts.

Your role:

Prepare project Estimates and Completion models, ensuring forecasts are robust and updated
Report on Risks and Opportunities
Report on project revenue progress, ensuring key contract milestones are achieved
Represent the finance department in functional review meetings
Lead cash flow reporting and forecasting
Play a key role in month end and reporting processes ensuring adherence to deadlines
Assist in internal and external audit requirements
Support bidding process for new projects
Contribute to strategic UK development plans

Your background:

Previous Accounting experience is essential, project accounting or longterm contract accounting is desirable
Experience working within a manufacturing environment
Able to work under pressure to meet fixed deadlines
Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial information
Preferably qualified (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or similar) but experience is key
Good command of Excel
