The Opportunity


We are looking for a Business Support Coordinator to join our busy O&M South Function on a fixed term basis for circa 10 months.


This role will assist with the efficient and effective operation of the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) business function within the Company; ensuring that all necessary support activities, for internal and external customers, are delivered in an effective, professional, diligent and courteous manner at all times.


The Role

The Business Support Coordinator will predominantly:

  • Answer calls within the agreed SLA's giving the highest level of Customer Service at all times.
  • Assist and deal with any queries in a timely manner, ensuring that cooperation is sought from other team members or departments
  • Assist with the development of processes and documentation
  • Assist with the continued professional development of our business systems that complement the services being delivered by the function, specifically (but not limited to) the help desk services and maintenance management system administration
  • Prepare reports and general data processing, including Coordinate reporting requirements of O&M Management and Create and submit specific client reports within agreed deadlines
  • Monitor site performance and help to find solutions
  • Monitor contractual KPI's against actuals and submit reports to the management team
  • Develop site documentation.
  • Purchase spare parts & consumables and manage inventory
  • Ensure purchasing procedures are adhered to
  • Work with Team Leaders (TL) to create schedule for planned, preventative maintenance work (PPM) for operations and maintenance (O&M) sites
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Utilise and assist in the development of the Job Logic Asset Management system
  • Operate office systems in support of the O&M business function requirements.
  • Carry out other duties consistent with the nature and responsibility of this role
  • Support the health and safety function and reporting
  • Complete site visits

The Person

  • Skills/Experience_
  • NVQ Level 3 or similar in a Business/ Administration related discipline (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Job Logic administration qualification (desirable).
  • Knowledge & experience of working with electronic maintenance systems
  • Purchasing/ invoicing experience.
  • Ability to work to deadlines with minimum supervisions
  • Competencies_
