Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of 'Extended Life Solutions' for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an exciting opportunity for a Master Scheduler to join our growing team based at our Staverton, Gloucestershire site.

This is a hybrid role combining Master Scheduling with Production Planning.

  • What will you be doing?
  • You'll be responsible for creating, managing and maintaining MPS based on demand requirements from actual Sales Orders, Forecast and Reorder Points. You'll be using this to create weekly Production Schedules based on short term capacity information. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to understand capacity constraints, material availabilities, reduce leadtimes, and exceed customer expectations. Alongside this, you will ensure good working relationships between key stakeholders to identify, action, and resolve key performance identifiers. You'll also assist in maintaining planned scheduling parameters such as lead time, lot size, safety stock, delivery times, standard times and order file data for all master scheduled items
  • What will you already know/have done?
  • Ideally you'll already have solid experience in either a Production Planning or Master Scheduling role exposure to both elements would be a bonus Aerospace experience or experience in a low volume, high complexity environment is also desirable but not essential. You'll be grounded, approachable and collaborative with excellent internal and external stakeholder management. This role requires a proactive approach to production and an appreciation for the data needed to keep us on track and exceeding expectations
