Applications are invited for a Consultant in Sedation and Special Care Dentistry to work within the University Dental Hospital, Cardiff.

This role offers and exciting opportunity to develop and deliver a Sedation Service and Training Centre

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is recognised as a teaching centre of excellence in a wide range of clinical services.

Applicants should be on the General Dental Council Specialist list in Special Care Dentistry.

The successful applicant will be expected to work in collaboration with Cardiff University to provide service and education it the areas of Sedation and Special Care Dentistry.

The successful applicant will have specific responsibility for planning and quality assuring the provision of sedation for dental care in all hospitals across the Health Board area.
