Duties and responsibilities

  • Processing payroll for 250 weekly and 80 monthly staff on varying shift patterns from T & A system to making payment (Systems: HFX & Itrent)
  • Dealing with SSP, SMP, SPP, and other payments/deductions
  • Management information reporting in relation to staff absence.
  • Pension submissions and reporting
  • Dealing with employee and HMRC queries
  • Processing End of Year payroll
  • Purchase ledger processing (Systems: Microsoft Navision)
  • Using OCR software to scan purchase invoices
  • Ad hoc posting of exception invoices
  • Checking for anomalies and supplier reconciliations
  • Forecast, proposing and administering payment runs
  • Supplier Liaison and communications
  • Daily Bank reconciliations
Experience of end-to-end payroll is essential for this role alongside purchase ledger exposure and the ability to manage your own

£12.00-£15.00 per hour
