This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team within our Housing Management Service across Shropshire.

Working closely alongside the Housing Officers and the Area Housing Manager you will have extensive knowledge of legal action regarding anti-social behaviour and rent arrears and provide oversight of high level, complex cases while also providing operational support to achieve Team KPIs, and act upon tenancy and land matters, tenancy fraud and compliance issues in an efficient manner in line with policy and procedures.

As a minimum, you will need to demonstrate:

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Excellent working knowledge of landlord and tenant law and practice
Excellent working knowledge and a good understanding of the welfare benefit system
Experience of developing and maintaining multiagency partnerships
Proven ability to operate as a strong & supportive team member as well as lone working
Ability to make policy decisions within agreed guidelines
Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
One or more years' experience or equivalent of dealing with ASB and using the appropriate tools available to resolve cases quickly and efficiently
One or more years' experience or equivalent of working in a debt recovery environment
