We are seeking a Placement Student with a passion for marketing and data analysis to become our Media Intern involved in European media campaigns.

Sony aims to inspire consumers through strategies that communicate our brand and innovative products to the world.

We are creative, passionate, and data-driven individuals who aim to capture the essence of the Sony brand in new, innovative ways.

Throughout this 13-month paid placement, you will be given the opportunity to not only expand your marketing and product knowledge but also immerse yourself in what it means to be a marketing professional in a multinational organisation and to understand where your career could take you.

Working within established teams, you will be offered expert mentorship alongside multiple development opportunities.

You will:

Assist with the planning and delivery of multitouchpoint, crosschannel media campaigns for European markets
Review the incampaign performance of various Sony product categories across all digital channels (Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google Discovery, Google Display Network etc.)
Communicate and collaborate with media agency to find the best ways to optimize performance of the campaigns
Assist with planning inputs for paid search campaigns such as ad copy, keywords, audiences etc.
Help to manage research projects which aim to uncover customer journeys when considering and purchasing Sony products, product usage, experience
Visit key media owners (e.g., Facebook, Google, YouTube etc.) for workshops on research studies and best practice

Your profile:

Studying for an undergraduate degree which makes you eligible for a 12month placement starting summer 2023. Preferred degree in Business Management, Marketing or similar
Having a keen interest in Marketing, social media with knowledge of different social channels is advantageous
A motivated team player with a proactive attitude and inquisitive mindset to learn something new
Having strong communication, organisational and presentation skills
Having strong mathematical, analytical and project management skills
Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
Fluent in English language (written and spoken), knowledge of European languages is an advantage

Based at the Weybridge office, you will enjoy a modern working environment. We have an onsite canteen with a wide range of options available including vegan, and a barista style coffee.
