Description

As a Pension Administrator in our Scheme Service Centre (SSC) you will be involved in quality service control, maintaining standards, adherence to and implementation of best practice across all SSC processes.


You will support SSC client relationships, project budgeting, peer review for and coaching of junior colleagues whilst taking a lead on process improvements for clients and processes and be actively involved in working parties, review and update of SSC process documents (PRM's, Checklists and SOPs) as well as developing/delivering training to the wider SSC team.

We will count on you to:

  • Have input in the agreement of overall delivery targets for your allocated schemes/tasks
  • Be part of and support any team plans to ensure achievement of the targets for member and scheme event work.
  • Coach team members to achieve all scheme event delivery targets based on service level agreements and timetables agreed with clients.
  • Develop and maintain a clientspecific service delivery and improvement plan for clients, if appropriate
  • Where you are the client lead, ensure your knowledge on client needs is up to date and liaise with other team members/teams on ongoing client requirements.
  • Provide input and be responsible for ensuring targets are met on all SSC processes for your allocated clients, flagging to your Team manager where there are conflicts.
  • Ensure all agreed client processes are included on the correct Work Control for your clients at all times.
  • Attend client pre/post renewal meetings where these are in place and any Trustee/Client Meetings when invited.

What you need to have:

  • Previous DB or DC pension administration experience
  • Previous client and trustee liaison experience
  • Proven ability to check pensions calculations to a high standard of accuracy
  • Full understanding of member calculation processes.
  • In depth knowledge of UK pensions legislation.
  • Proven ability to communicate with impact to clients, trustees and members
