Hodgson Construction is a well-established construction company, working throughout London and surrounding areas, with a steady pipeline of work throughout the year.

We currently have an upbeat, driven and enthusiastic team. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Builder to join our team. As a Builder, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and renovating various structures. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in multiple areas of construction.

Responsibilities:

Perform various construction tasks such as framing, installing drywall, and finishing surfaces
Plumb and install fixtures for water supply and drainage systems
Using hand and power tools
Perform joinery work, including cutting, shaping, and fitting wood or other materials.
Working on your own and within a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard according to specifications.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Builder
Strong knowledge of building regulations
Ability to read and follow technical drawings
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Have at least 5 years' experience in house extensions, loft conversion and refurbishments.
Have a carpentry background but will have an extensive general knowledge of all aspects of building.
