Temporary position based in the City Centre

About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established non-profit organisation with a strong presence in Manchester. Known for its commitment to the community, this organisation is recognised for its significant contributions to the education sector.

The responsibilities of an Finance Officer will include, but not limited too;

Oversee and manage daily financial operations within the organisation.
Month end support.
Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
Analyse financial data and prepare forecasts.
Manage budgets and monitor expenditure.
Provide financial advice to management to aid in decision

The Successful Applicant:

A Finance Officer should have:

Not for Profit and Charities desirable not essential.
A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
Strong communication and leadership.
Ability to commute to Manchester.
