  • The Manchester College has many Campus locations across Greater Manchester, each with its own specialist cuttingedge facilities within a friendly and supportive environment. We are the largest Further Education College in the UK providing education and training to a wide range of learners.

We have an exciting opportunity at our Openshaw Campus to join our Automotive, Construction, Engineering and Logistics team as a Director (Engineering and Construction Built Environment) on a permanent, full time (35 hours per week) basis.**As a director you will be Responsible for leading the development and planning of the department across the college, with a focus on high quality and success for students. Responsible for staffing and resource requirements for the department and to ensure the department is fit to respond to the changing needs of the sector, external regulatory frameworks such as the Education Inspection Framework, learners, employers, and the wider communities the college serves and to drive improvement of the provision within the college and inform national development.


To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Recognised Teaching Qualification
  • Qualified to deliver curriculum, internally verify, and moderate qualifications and Minimum Level 2 Maths and English
  • Internal verification
  • Evidence of current ongoing continuous professional development
