Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Channel Controller to join our Nestlé Coffee Partners team within the Nestlé Professional business to lead and inspire the team to execute the sales strategy in Roadside, Retail, Leisure, Lodging and Travel Channels and with key RTM partners, achieving maximum profitability and growth in line with the channel and business strategy.

A day in the life of a Channel Controller
This is an incredibly exciting and diverse role, in which you will be responsible for Sales leadership of Nestlé Coffee Partners' Beverage Solutions within defined channels.
You will define the sales strategy and lead a team of National Account Managers to deliver sales targets via new and existing accounts.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Accountable and responsible for achievement of agreed sales plan and targets by delivering New Business Wins, Distribution, Promotional Activity, and Range.
- Ensure Joint Business Plans are in place with key customers and RTM Partners to deliver profitable growth. Build strong relationships with customers and prospects.
- Deliver excellent inoutlet implementation of the NCP promotional and marketing programs, that drive distribution and rate of sale. Work proactively with the Regional Account Management team to identify new business opportunities and to develop existing customers
- Create customer account plans that identify the appropriate volume, distribution, visibility and Point of Presence (POP) opportunities and strategies to maximise and grow the business for both direct/indirect customers and the RTM partners
- Active participation in Monthly Business Planning. Ensure accurate measurement of achievements against the plan (NPS, NNS, TS, Net placement forecast accuracy etc.) Analyse and understand sales trends and create plans to achieve sales targets
- Develop best in class understanding of customer/channel including the ability to articulate the customers' own commercial goals and KPIs. Understands the value that each NESTLÉ coffee brand contributes to these goals.
- Constantly review the Foodservice/OOH industry, identifying key opportunities for growth, areas for improvement and potential risks to Nestlé Coffee Partners business.
- Collaborate closely with the relevant Category Managers in the CBU, providing input to channel strategy for beverage solutions.
- Coach and facilitate development of a high performing team, ensuring HR practices are in place for direct reports (recruitment, onboarding, training, development, succession planning, reviews and talent assessments, etc). Ensure identification and development of talent
- Set account managers' targets, coordinating and reviewing the pipeline of potential customers and growth opportunities to ensure efficient sales force management.
- Be a key member of the Nestlé Coffee Partners leadership team
What will make you successful?
A strong people leader and influencer, you will have already demonstrated successful performance within generating demand and sales within the OOH industry and will have successfully delivered on KPIs, especially top and bottom line business results, with a proven track record of winning new business.
