We are currently seeking a highly qualified Consultant Microbiologist / Infectious Diseases Medical Microbiologist to join our team.

As a consultant in our microbiology department, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of infectious diseases, contributing to the overall well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive diagnostic testing and analysis of various clinical samples to identify infectious agents and provide accurate and timely results.
Provide expert advice on infection prevention and control measures, including the management of outbreaks within healthcare settings.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with infectious diseases.
Actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings, research projects, and quality improvement initiatives.
Stay uptodate with the latest developments and advancements in the field of microbiology and infectious diseases, maintaining your knowledge and skills through continuous professional development.

Monday

Friday 09:00 17:00, (1:5 weekend oncalls, remote)
Pay Circa £200,000 per annum
Only applicants with at least a years UK experience in a similar role will be considered
