The role

About you

You will be motivated and be an effective team worker with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. You must have excellent communication skills.

A confident approach is essential with the ability to work on your own but also a willingness to offer solutions and improvements to the current systems.

The role will involve;

  • Maintenance of the purchase ledger and banking system as per procedures and guidelines
  • Ensuring that all transactions and processes are in accordance and compliance with RICS regulations
  • Daily invoice and bank transfer processing
  • Preparing weekly payment runs for approval
  • Daily update and maintenance of Clients Monies Service
  • Weekly/monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assisting service charge and client accounting reporting requirements on monthly and quarterly basis
  • Dealing with queries from both tenants and suppliers and completing supplier reconciliations as necessary
  • Assisting the accounts manager and other members of the management department in reviewing the department's business processes (particularly in respect of the accounts payable/cash management function) in order to identify efficiency savings
Key skills and characteristics;

  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Good communication skills written and verbal
  • Extremely well organised
Key skills and characteristics;

  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role (property industry experience desirable)
  • Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 36
  • AAT qualified (desirable)
