Fareham

Salary of the Workshop Controller / Service Controller / Fleet Planner / Fleet Controller / Service Coordinator / Workshop Supervisor / Maintenance Controller / Assistant Service Manager / Workshop Manager:
Starting at £35,000 upwards (Depending on experience) with an OTE of £40,000 - £45,000 upwards

My client, a large and well known Vehicle company, are looking for an ambitious and efficient Workshop Controller / Service Controller / Fleet Planner / Fleet Controller / Service Coordinator / Workshop Supervisor / Maintenance Controller / Assistant Service Manager / Workshop Manager to join their team in Fareham.

This role would be suitable for someone who has experience in a Commercial Vehicle Service environment, you do not have to have been an LCV or HGV technician, but someone who has done Service Advising, Service Control or Fleet Control is suitable as their will be a lot of administration work, QC, Compliance and some assistance with HR for the Workshop.

Duties of the Workshop Controller / Service Controller / Fleet Planner / Fleet Controller / Service Coordinator / Workshop Supervisor / Maintenance Controller / Assistant Service Manager / Workshop Manager:

Dealing with customers
Assist the General Manager in all tasks
Communicating with workshops
Issuing Technicians with daily workloads
Maintenance scheduling and planning
Working with Customers, suppliers and third party workshop liaisons
Building customer rapport
Ensuring relevant parts ordered and details of vehicles obtained
Communicating with the workshops and technicians
Administration
Ensuring vehicles are being Booked in, scheduling services and MOTs correctly
Account Managing your large customers and ensuring the fleet and service is up to date
Ensuring smooth running of the fleet, workshop and maintenance
Compliance
All other duties related to the Service Workshop and the Depot

Qualities of the Workshop Controller / Service Controller / Fleet Planner / Fleet Controller / Service Coordinator / Workshop Supervisor / Maintenance Controller / Assistant Service Manager / Workshop Manager:

Good computer skills, particularly proficient with Office and Excel
You're customerfocused and a team player
Commercial Automotive experience
Technical knowledge advantageous
Strong Administration Skills
Workshop Compliance
You're able to meet deadlines
Previous experience in a similar role with Inspection and MOT Commercial Vehicle Scheduling an advantage
