CK Group are recruiting for an ICP-OES Laboratory Technician to join a metals and materials recycling company based in Derbyshire on a contract basis for a period of 3 months.


The Company:

The client is the largest single site producer of recycled lead in Europe. They are certified to the internationally recognised quality standard BS EN ISO 9001 and were the first European lead smelter to achieve the former BS5750 accreditation


Salary:

Salary equivalent to around £25,000 per annum.


Location:

This ICP-OES Laboratory Technician role is located in Derbyshire and is easily commutable from Derby, Chesterfield and Sheffield.


ICP-OES Laboratory Technician role:


As a ICP-OES Laboratory Technician, you will work on a project that will see you responsible for effluent testing using a variety of analytical methods, including ICP-OES.


Your main duties will be:

  • Carry out analytical testing on effluent samples by ICP-OES.
  • Report results accurately to management.
  • Maintain good laboratory practice by ensuring work areas are clean.

Your Background:


  • A relevant degree or equal industrial experience.
  • Experience working in an analytical laboratory.
