Assistant Management Accountant | £24,000 - £30,000 | Bolton + Hybrid | 1 year Contract

Axon Moore are excited to be working with a fantastic PE-backed business in Bolton and they are looking for an established and experienced Assistant Management Accountant to come in, hit the ground running and develop their skills further.

This is a 12 monthFixed Term Contract with the opportunity to go permanent at the end.

To be suited to this role you will be experienced in similar role and demonstrate effective workload and time management, be confident with using finance / other systems strong communication skills to liaise with individuals at all levels across the business.

What will you be doing?:

Monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations
Management of Fixed Asset schedule and posting of depreciation to management accounts
Management of prepayments
Management and analysis of disbursements, including import and reconciliation from case management system to finance system
Production of the chargeable time and missing time sheet reporting, including ensuring time is posted to time recording system and assisting case staff with corrections of time incorrectly posted
Initial review and authorisation of expenses, ensuring VAT appropriately applied
Resolving queries and issues with the finance system to support team
Assisting Finance Manager as required
Cover for the Accounts Receivable function when required
Adhoc reporting as required by Finance Controller
