Responsibilities:

• Ensuring health, safety and environmental practices and processes are developed.
• Weekly site advisory safety reports and monthly safety audits.
• Proactively support the site induction process.
• Advise managers on HSE issues throughout the Company.
• To provide necessary training to staff to ensure standards are met.
• Monitoring and advising on high risk, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Respond to HSE incidents including carrying out investigations and risk assessment where necessary.
• Conduct regular meetings with site teams and carry out inspections with subcontractors.

Specific Experience:

The following skills / experience are minimum requirements:

• You should have 5 years similar work experience and have good working knowledge of CDM Regulations and Building Safety regs
• Qualified in Occupational Health and Safety and/or NEBOSH Construction certification or equivalent.
• A team player with excellent interpersonal, written and communication, training skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and good IT skills are essential.

• Excellent analytical, communication and written skills with a professional, personable demeanour and experience dealing with clients and representatives of statutory authorities.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.
• Ability to work as a team player and assist colleagues across projects and departments as part of a collaborative company culture.
• Willingness to take ownership and personal responsibility for own actions as part of a company culture that values 'lessons learned' above blame.

This position offers a competitive salary between £45,000-£50,000 plus package.
