Locum Appointment for Service,

Adult Mental Health (2 posts)

Applications are welcome for the above fixed term, full time (40 hours per week) post based in Royal Edinburgh Hospital.

One post is working in inpatient Adult Psychiatry based at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.

The post holder will work with the team of medical staff who provide inpatient care for people are admitted to the NW I/P service.

One post is working in Community Psychiatry at Ballendon House.

The post holder will work with the medical team and wider MDT providing specialist community MH for adults living in the SE sector of the city.

The inpatient post is available from early August to mid-January. The community post is from August to the end of January.

There are a range of opportunities that would facilitate less than full time working and NHS Lothian psychiatric services have a strong track record in supporting staff to develop their role and job plan through less than full time work.

These are full time posts. The post holders will be on the rota for out of hours psychiatric care. This rota is banded at 1B.
