Main Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

  • Maintain and update reference data for a set of Network Applications to preserve and promote their accuracy, completeness and integrity.
  • Manage the creation, transfer and validation of data to and between Network Rail and external systems
  • Assist with the implementation of systems development by conducting user acceptance testing
  • Assist The Systems Support Analyst in the provision of business support.
  • Manage the Assyst call system on behalf of the team, allocating calls to the appropriate team member.
  • Provide system administration with regard to access, security, and reporting.
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of quality and efficiency improvement/change initiatives
  • Undertake the role in a way that is consistent with and reinforces Network Rail's values and behaviours.
Essential

  • Strong experience of working in a business support environment
  • Good analytical skills in a technical or systems related environment
  • Educated to A level standard or equivalent
  • High level of computer literacy including ability to query and manipulate data

Band & Salary:
Band 5, £29,500 - £35,500 depending on experience
