Salary - £27,500 per annum

What does the role involve?


EMBS Engineering is in partnership with an engineering company located in Nuneaton that manufactures a range of engineering components, supplying to a variety of industry sectors including Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Transport just to name a few.


They offer low volume production and rapid prototyping, meaning they are the go to supplier for many well renowned organisations across the globe.


Due to our client's increased workload, following huge excessive sales already next year, over-achieving their annual target, they are looking to expand their Composite department and are therefore looking for Composite Trimmers to join their growing team.


Located at their site in Nuneaton, as a Composite Trimmer you will be working alongside talented engineers, testing yourself with challenging parts and material.

You will be supporting the team leader, prepping and trimming composite components by hand using air cutting tools, using adhesives and fixtures to prep and bond and following work instructions to a high standard.


What experience do you need?

  • Previous experience trimming carbon and/or GRP composites components
  • Experience using hand and air tools to prep and trim components
  • Prep and bond composites using adhesives and fixtures
  • Able to perform techniques such as drilling, tapping, and fitting inserts into holes
  • Experience following instructions and working to tight tolerances
