Job Title - Business Development Coordinator
Location - Trafford Park, Manchester
Hours - 8.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday
Salary - £25,000 - £27,000 per annum

We have and exciting opportunity for a Business Development Coordinator to work for a national company that supply equipment and services into the construction industry.

This role offers huge variety day to day with excellent potential for progression withinthe business.

The purpose of the role is to establish customer relationships and provide excellent customer service, identify growth and revenue opportunities and convert all enquiries into hire business.


The main parts of the role include:

  • To ensure that customer requirements are dealt with efficiently and effectively whether received by phone or electronically.
  • Proactive contact of the customer base from databases and from training leads.
  • Establish and maintain positive and effective internal working relationships
  • Coordinating and arranging client events, meetings, appointments, and conferences.
  • Conducting market research to identify new business development opportunities within the customer database.
  • To maximise revenue generation through hire, sales, service and training. Also chargeable additions such as labour, consumables, damages and transport
  • Assist the operational branches in recovering damage and transport costs in line with expenditure
  • Ensure all orders and queries are accurately input onto the system
  • Provide admin support and customer quotations
  • Writing and distributing agendas, proposals, cost estimates, and briefing documents for internal and external meetings
  • Creating and maintaining client databases and mail list
  • Tracking submitted proposals and providing feedback to management

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Be confident in communicating difficult messages to people of all levels
  • Experience of working in a customer service role
  • Understanding in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong networking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
