Supply Chain Supervisor - Southampton - Hybrid
Our client based in the Southampton area are currently seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor to join their team on a hybrid basis working in the office for 4 days with 1 day working from home.

The role will be providing and managing global supply chain services for the company for their products and services and managing the stock and logistics team.
You will have previousexperience within a similar role and have a professional approach with excellent attention to detail. The company has on-site parking and the working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm (flexibility is required).Role:
Supply Chain Supervisor
Where: Southampton
Salary: c£30-35,000pa
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing of the stock and logistics team.
- Planning and managing stock deployment according to projected client use as per client consumption, for delivery of product and/or accessories to any or several warehouses, agents or direct to a customer to provide "first in class" customer service.
- Coordinating effectively, multiple deliveries to varied warehouses, client bases around the world.
- Accurately completing client/customer purchase orders and quotes in a timely manner.
- Problem solving or answering client/customer questions effectively and in a timely manner.
- Placing orders for product and/or accessories to a Supplier.
- Resolving stock discrepancies/situations where First In First Out (FIFO) is not in operation or not being used efficiently
- Resolving issues related to any product located in an office or warehouse which is redundant/no activity in a 6month period.
- Highlight to management any product located in an office or warehouse which is redundant.
- Ensure comparison/reconciliation of stock between warehouses
- Oversee quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
- Analysis in order to create accurate stock projections.
- Updating, maintaining, and complying with ISO/policies and procedures relating to the supply and logistics team.
- Assist in tendering and pricing processes for new and continued business.

- The ability to lead a team
- To be proactive and flexible in your approach
- Confident IT skills including MS Office, Excel
